David Daneshgar winner of WSOP Event #52

Event number 52 has been completed which was the second to last No Limit Holdʼem
being held during this yearʼs World Series of Poker.
The winner was David Daneshgar from Westlake Village in California who was up against
another 2,693 players all desperate to get their hands on the coveted bracelet. This event
was the $1500 buy-in event and the winner Daneshgar played very well in order to
overcome the other players. It was definitely a well-deserved win.
No stranger to big money tournaments, Daneshgar already has over $1million in
tournament winnings to his name. In fact the gold bracelet was really the only item missing
from his trophy cabinet! He entered the final table in a strong position and was able to
maintain this strength throughout. He eventually came up against Scott Sitron and through
a mixture of strong hands and very aggressive play, he managed to overpower him and
take down the event.
This win secured him over $600,000 in prize money. Sitron of course did not leave empty
handed and won $385,974 for himself.
