Field Narrows at Legends of Poker

August 27, 2008

There are just 27 players still fighting it out for the big win and the title at the Legends of Poker tournament. It is currently taking place at the Bicycle Casino and there are just 3 tables remaining.

Many big names have hit the rail so far on this journey. Players such as Lathy Liebert, Gabe Kaplan, Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel and Mark Seif are a few who have been unsuccessful this time. It was a sad day for Ali Eslami who despite holding the chip lead at various points during the tournament, lost a very large stack on day 3 to exit right on the bubble, just missing the money.

The final 27 players who are all now in the money will return to play down the final 6. The final 6 will play in a WPT televised event. Good luck to all the surviving players, and we look forward to seeing who takes the 2008 title!
