Legends of Poker Continues
August 28, 2008
Day 4 of the Legends of Poker has just been and gone, and whilst it was expected to be a
tough and prolonged battle between the remaining 27 to determine the final table of 6, the
reality was that it only took 4 hours before the final 10 were determined.
Huge pots and suckouts ensured the day moved along rapidly as many poker players hit the rail
very quickly. Once the final 10 had gathered, the pace decreased somewhat with players
keen to get into the very final 6 line up. Itʼs a tough game however and eventually
Raymond Voskanian was sent packing, closely followed by Layne Flack whose pair of
aces was beaten by John Phanʼs pair of 7ʼs when he then flopped the other pair of 7ʼs
giving him quads!
So the very final line up is as follows with the chip counts.
Seat 1 - Trong Nguyen - 980,000
Seat 2 - Amit Makhija - 3,225,000
Seat 3 - Paul Smith - 1,130,000
Seat 4 - John Phan - 2,415,000
Seat 5 - Zachary Clark - 2,025,000
Seat 6 - Kyle Wilson - 1,425,000
The battle continues....
