Return of the Poker Den

The Poker Den is set to return to London on September 30th. An invention and indeed mix
of Party Poker and Match Sport, this series will be a marathon 36 hours of poker played
about which some players are bragging they will do without a break. Each player buys in to
the event with a minimum of $10,000 and the blinds begin at $25/$50. The players are free
to leave the table at any time and using the straddling approach to increase the blinds/
stakes is common.
It has attracted big names in the past and will see many of them return this time around.
Big names to watch out for are Robert Williamson III, Jamie Gold, Tony G, Jennifer Tilly
and John Tabatabai. It has not been confirmed yet if Phil Helmuth will be returning for this
series. He certainly brought a lot of action to the tables the last time around and provided
entertainment in large doses.
