The APT Opening

The Asian Poker Tour begins on 27th August amid much excitement, and to open the
exciting tournament, a number of special events are taking place that will of much interest
to poker fans everywhere.
The Galaxy StarWorld Casino Resort and Hotel will host the opening of the anticipated
event which will take place at 4.30pm in the lobby. Star guest Doyle Brunson will be on
hand to meet guests, players and fans and carry out a book signing.
Following the opening event and the book signing will be a special Charity Celebrity Poker
Challenge hosted by the Matt Savage who is the tournament director. The charity in
question is the Caritas De Macau which is the social service organization in Macau. Manny
Pacquiao (the boxer), Michael Wong, Natalie Ng and Miss Hong Kong Tracy Ip will be in
attendance at the celebrity event. Doyle Brunson will stay behind to take part also.
There is yet more however following the charity event with an exclusive party being held at
StarWorld's famous Whisky Bar.
