WPT Legends of Poker Begins Shortly

As part of the 7th season of the World Poker Tour the Legends of Poker event is shortly to
kick off. Pros and amateurs will soon be heading off for the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles
in California to take part in the popular event which is to be filmed and aired on Fox Sports
Net.
This tournament tends to receive more column inches than many others due to its
popularity with players and spectators alike. It has seen many of the very best players walk
away with the title. Last yearʼs winner was Dan Harrington who also holds 2 WSOP
bracelets including as the winner of the main event in 1995. In 2004 it was won by none
other than Doyle Brunson, a true poker legend and hero to many.
The event is a 5 day tournament with a $10,000 buy-in. There will be 2 flight days, 1A and
1B due to the large number of entrants. We will bring you all news of the event as it
happens!
