It ended with a bang

November 28th, 2008

If you play a game of 5 card stud heads up you hope you win. Or maybe you are a masochist and you want to loose??? Who knows?
In Florida a player was playing a heads up match in 5 card stud and lost. Nothing new and nothing special if its not for $100k or something.
Well..This hand turned out to be special as the losing player, Ralf Rackard, thought he had been cheated.

In the true tradition of the Wild West (please forget this was in Florida) he left and came back with a shotgun with which he shot the winner of the game. Luckily for his victim the bullets used in the gun where not highly penetrating and he is able to tell this story to his family. 3 players at the beginning of the year where not so lucky in in illegal club in Florida. Maybe in Florida poker is a game of life and death??
