Surprises in Sunday tournaments

It was another weekend of high stakes poker action with the major sites all hosting big events.
Biggest of them all is and probably will be for the foreseeing future is the Sunday Million at PokerStars where Danny "The_D_RY" Ryan capped a phenomal stretch with a superb win.
Danny was chipleader with more then 30 players left and although he stayed in the lead for long he was outchipped for a short stretch at the final table.
His play kept him in and when the opponents fell by the wayside he found himself headsup with a 3/1 chiplead. His turned straight was excellent as his opponent shoved all in with second pair. His was was even more remarkable as he also made it deep into the Full Tilt $750.000 guaranteed where he finished 23rd.
This must surely make him one of the most succesful players over the weekend. MicoTX meanwhile took this tournament for more then $130.000 while his 23rd place guaranteed Danny Ryan over $190.000 in total for the weekend.
An amazing result occured in the Sunday $500k at PokerStars where Andre Akkari and Gavin Griffin fought out the heads up battle. These two players are BOTH Team PokerStars Pro Players.
They took home $90.000 and $65,000 plus each.
