WSOP final table underway
November 10th, 2008
The final table att he WSOP is underway right now and unfortunately we cant say the action has been fast and furious.
It took nearly an hour before we so our first flop, but after 52 hands was it finally over for one of the final 9.
Greg Marquis went all in with 77 and got called by Montgomery and his AQ.
The fact there was an Ace on the flop did not mater that much as there was also a 7 together with a 10. The fact that the turn was a J and the river a K meant however that Greg Marquis had to leave with just over $900.000 in his pocket. The person most happy about it was Kim, who had not played a hand and was sitting with just 2 times the big blind.
He went all in directly afterwards and his 44 got beat by Ivan Deminov.
By his patient play he got at least more then $350.000 extra.
Dennis Phillips has been the biggest chip loser so far as he lost over 20million in chips so far.
We will keep you up to date here.
At the moment of writing Dennis Phillips moved all in with AQ after Ylon Schwarz raised his 1mil bet to 4mil. Schwartz holds QQ and the flop is coming down right now.
A miracle Ace came down on the flop after an opponent announced that they folded an Ace. The board of A-3-4-6-J means Dennis is now back up to 20million.
