Russia gets its own Poker Tour

It was a long time coming, but after the EPT, WPT, LAPT and the APPT there will now be an RPT.
This Russian poker tour was a long time coming as poker has become huge in Russia over the last few years. Players from Russia have made their mark in each of the other worthwhile Tours, with of course Ivan Demidov the last one who showed that Russia has great players.
In Januari of 2009 the tour will hit St. Petersburg where the buy in will be a nicely even $5000, but 2 weeks later the tour will hit Moscow where only the high rollers will be able to take place at the tables as the buy in will be a juicy $10.000
These two tournaments will for now be the only stops on this newly formed tour, but sponsor PokerStars believes there might be more stops to come along the way.
