Gowen vs Full-Tilt Poker (part 2)
Feb 07, 2009
As you might be well aware Clonie Gowen has been suing Full-Tilt poker for the princely sum of $40milion. In case you don’t remember what the case was about here a quick reminder:
The story was that when Clonie “joined” Full-Tilt Poker she was offered 1% of the net worth of Full-Tilt poker. According to Clonie there was a verbal agreement about this and in her estimation the “firm” Full-Tilt is worth an amazing $4BILLION. This seems a bit steep in everyone´s mind, but Ms Gowen is determined.
She is represented by the lawyers of Howard and Howard (oh the irony, as Howard Lederer is one of the big honchos at Full Tilt poker) and they have now requested a speedier date with Chris Ferguson and Ray Bitar as they apparently have emails that could be lost if this case continues longer.
As we all know this case WILL go on for a long time and we at www.pokersense.com will keep you up to date with all the latest news regarding Clonie and her attempt to get some dough of Full-Tilt.
