Poker takes another step against cheaters

Did we report in 2008 that Josh Field had been banned by every major site online we can now report that the Cake Network has also banned this player from playing.

Once again Josh was multi accounting on a poker webiste and this time it did not take that long for the security team to pick this up.
Thanks to ever increasing intelligence and smarter detection software online pokersites are able to recognise previously banned players as well as unusual patterns.
According to Josh himself he "only" had 2 accounts with Cake Network. As even two is too many he would be banned anyway, but of course it is doubtful if it really was limited to two accounts.

In other "cheatng" news it has been announced that PokerStars has stopped the HeadsUp (HU) games during the 25th Billion hand bash on their site.
It turns out that players were opening HU tables left right and centre and then just sat out till it was announced on which table the prize would be won. Then the players would just pass the blinds around and hope in that way to gain an advantage over other players as they could be playing tens of tables at a time. Of course they did not need to pay attention as they were not playing a game.
This shows you how inventive some players are and it was not limited to some small time players as a few "supernova" players have been seen on these "sit out" tables.
