No less then 255!!?? Players turned up for day 1b of the tournament and while it actually was capped at 200 player per day the organization happily let everyone in to play. With the players from day 1a that made a total of 391 players in total which means that the winner will still walk away with a cool $1Million and change. This is already after the “shooting star2 deductions and the $10000 that was reserved for the winners of both first days.

Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Harman, Kathy Liebert, Chau Giang, Chris Ferguson, David Williams, Scotty Nguyen, Howard Lederer, Nam Le, Barry Greenstein, David Chui, Antonio Esfandiari and Eli Elezra were the “Shooting Stars” of the day along with 12 others and some players received some cash early when they knocked some “stars” out.

Nenad Medic and Jennifer Tilly were quickly out and Tilly must have been upset the board consists of 5 cards as her AA were good against Rajkumar his 55 till the river where a 5 popped up. Antonio Esfandiari vs. Tony Gargano, David Williams vs. Peter “Nordberg” Feldman, David Chiu v. James Viglizzo, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi vs. Marco Johnson, John Phan vs. Gary Tighe, Phil Laak vs. Frank Khadivi were other matchs ups were Shooting Stars lost out against other players.
A notable player that was not a “star” was Bertand Grospellier who is better known as Elky. He lost against an unnamed player as well.

The last day of the hand had some significance as Chris “jesus” Ferguson went all in with A-10 and the call with AJ by Isaac Baron was a good one. He not only knocked out Chris to pick up the bounty, but he also because the day winner and took down $10000 for that too.
