PokerStars keeps coming up with special promotions and tournaments to keep the players interested even in tough economic times.
Now from the 23th till the 29th of March there will be an All Star weekend that will feature some exciting ideas for the players to sink their teeth into.
There will be an automatic invite for every player that won the Sunday Million in 2008 as well as for players finishing high on the Yearly leader board as well as for players making the final table in a WCOOP event.
There will also be an $11 buy in tournament for EVERY PokerStars player in which a wild card can be won as well as a $1050 main event buy in package for the SCOOP main event.
Every day there will be tournaments and as soon as there are 5 players left the tournament will be frozen and the tactical decisions need to be made which of the 5 players will play which PokerStars Pro member. At 1200 1400 1600 1800 2000 every day there will be a heads up match in No Limit Texas holdEm between an all star and a PokerStars Pro with $1000 for the winner. At 1600 the tournament will alternate between different forms of poker.
At the end of the week the team with the most victories will share the prize pool, which will consist of $1000 times the amount of heads up victories.
Even players that did not qualify can still enjoy as there will be a FAN tournament in which players can play for either of the teams for just 100 FPP. The prizepool will be made up of $1000 times the amount of victories by YOUR team.
