This week at the PokerStars Super Tuesday Event there was a decent sized playing field to begin the tournament which topped out at 348 players. The tournament had a prize pool of over $250K and the players started the event with the same goal which was to win the first place prize of over $60K. The players spent several hours of playing poker until the playing field was down to the final nine players.
The final table was pretty close and the only player who really had any lead was first place Schildy1984 who started the final table with almost twice as many chips as second place. The action heated up right away on the final table with two players moving all-in early and both losing to I’Am_Sound. Now the tournament only had seven players left and it didn’t take long until they were down to the final four players.
Once the Poker Stars Super Tuesday tournament was down to only four players the players at the table discussed splitting the prize pool and after short discussions all four agreed. The prize pool was split up according to who had the most chips and there was also $10K of the prize pool left for the eventual winner of the event to add to there winnings. With the four final players splitting the prize pool between each other it guaranteed that each of the four players would win at least $40K each.
The eventual winner of the Poker Stars Super Tuesday this week was I’Am_Sound who took home the biggest prize which was $61,662.12. If you’re curios as to how the rest of the final table finished you can view the results below.
