Annie Duke Loses Celebrity Apprentice

We spent a little time yesterday talking about the finale of the Celebrity Apprentice and if you read the blog post yesterday I hope you tuned into NBC last night to watch the finale. After all of the negative statements that Joan Rivers had made about the game of poker and poker players I really was hoping that Annie Duke was going to beat her last night, but it turned out the other way around. Joan Rivers prevailed after the final task and was crowned the season three Celebrity Apprentice last night.
The final task last night during the three hour long episode was to host a VIP party and also hold a silent auction during the party. The two celebrities were going to be judged on five separate factors during the task. At the end of the task Joan Rivers had won three of the scored categories and Annie Duke won two of the categories scored during the task. The fact Annie only won two shouldn’t have mattered that much though, because she earned more then triple what Joan earned during the event.
Annie Duke almost earned a half million during her VIP party whereas Joan Rivers had only earned a little over a hundred thousand. It was pretty clear to me that Annie displayed a lot more business sense then Joan Rivers and I felt robbed when Donald Trump said Joan won last night. In the board room at the end of the show a lot of the other contestants had stated that they would have chosen Joan Rivers and so did the winner and runner up of the last season of Celebrity Apprentice.
It was a long couple months of Celebrity Apprentice which started during the beginning of March, but it has now come to an end and we don’t have a poker apprentice. The next season of the Celebrity Apprentice is already scheduled and I can only hope we have another poker player in the mix again.
