EPT $25K High Rollers Championship Results

During the past week most of the spotlight has been shining upon the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final due to the record setting playing field, but there was another great event taking place which didn’t get as much media attention. The EPT $25K High Rollers Championship is always one of the smallest events due to the expensive buy-in, but it always features some of the world’s best poker players.
This years event didn’t disappoint as there was a little more then 70 poker players who took part in this years event with quite a few of them being players who were knocked out of the Grand Final Event. Some of the playing field consisted of Andy Bloch, Peter Eastgate, Ylon Schwartz, Dave Ulliott, Tony G, Daniel Negreanu and Jennifer Rousso. There is no doubt that the playing field is wide open and anyone could walk away with the championship.
After playing for a few days and slimming down the herd in the tournament the players were down to the final table. The final table featured eight players with only a couple recognizable names in the group of players. Below was the seating arrangement when the final table started.

- Seat Two – Randy Dorfman
- Seat Three – David Steicke
- Seat Five – David Eldar
- Seat Six – William Thorson
- Seat Seven – Florian Langmann
- Seat Eight – Tony G
- Seat Nine – Jennifer Rousso
Jennifer Rousso and Tony G were sitting in first place and second place for the start of the final table and they both had an excellent shot at taking home first place and 720K. After hours of playing poker Tony G ended up finishing the event in third place and Jennifer Rousso continued her great play right to the finish line and finished in first place. This is the first victory for Jennifer Rousso in a big event like this in a long time and she was definitely in need of this victory and I feel great it’s her who won.
