PokerStars Super Tuesday Results

This week at the PokerStars Super Tuesday there was 360 players who were fighting for there shot at the first place prize of over $70K. With only 360 players in the tournament I’m sure most players felt they had a great shot at winning first place. With the fairly small playing field in the tournament it didn’t take overly long for the players to knock the competition down to the final table. The chip counts to start the final table were as followed starting with the chip leader and moving down.

The story in the Super Tuesday just like other tournaments this past week has been that the underdog has come through to win the event. In yesterdays event it wasn’t the last place player on the final table to win, but Viirusss who started sixth on the final table managed to come back to win. To start the final table Viirusss had a little over 100K in chips. As the tournament began to near its completion the final two players started a heads-up battle with fairly close chip stacks.
Viirusss started the heads-up battle the leader and although the lead was changing often during the heads-up battle Viirusss walked away with first place. The final nine players all had a pretty nice payday and they each made over $5K for their efforts which isn’t that bad for a days work. The following is how the players finished the final table and how much they earned for their efforts.
