World Series of Poker New Orleans Championship Event Day Two

The World Series of Poker is back everyone and I can’t wait until the main event begins, but we have some news from New Orleans this week. The WSOP Circuit is in New Orleans this week and for the past couple days there have been 167 poker players competing in the $5150 Championship Event. There weren’t many familiar poker names in the tournament and after the first two days of action the final table is full of names noone will recognize.
The final table will be played today in New Orleans and I will ensure that tomorrow I post the results for everyone to check out. The remaining nine players will be fighting not only for bragging rights and a WSOP bracelet, but also for a prize of over $200K and a seat into this year’s WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas. The winner will also receive a small amount of money for expenses while traveling to Vegas for the Main Event.
The chip counts going into day three are fairly split up and it’s going to take some serious work from the bottom stacks to catch up and win this WSOP Circuit Event.

Jean currently is sitting with a nice lead, but one wrong move could see Jean making a quick exit. As we have seen in the past weeks anyone can win as long as they have a chip left so the tournament definitely has a lot of play left today. With over $200K for first place everyone is going to be gunning for the grand prize today and I can’t wait to see who wins.
