Eric Baldwin Takes Home First WSOP Bracelet in 34th Event at the 2009 WSOP

Eric Baldwin is a young amateur poker player who hasn’t been playing live tournaments for very long and he has already earned his first World Series of Poker bracelet. Eric is an American born poker player and he definitely has a bright future ahead of him in poker. There were a total of 2095 players who started the event three days ago and it just finished last night after a long third day of action.
When the third day started yesterday there were only 21 players left in the tournament, but it didn’t take very long to narrow down the field a little bit. As the short stacks in the event started getting knocked out the final table was formed and the players sat down to complete the tournament. The most notable poker player who made the final table in this event was Roland de Wolfe who actually ended up making it all the way to fifth place despite being on one of the short stacks.
Ten players took part in the final table for this event which made it take longer then the average final table has taken, but it was a great event. Due to the large playing field in the event the prize pool was exceptionally large so all of the players were fighting to the death for the $500K+ first place prize that was on the line. Eric played against Jonas Klausen heads-up in the event and it took about 50 hands for Baldwin to take down the bracelet and first place prize money.
