Greg Mueller Earns WSOP Bracelet in the $10K Limit Holdem World Championships

The final table in this event was one of the best final tables of the WSOP so far this year as the chips were being pushed around the table fearlessly. Every single player who started the third day on the final table held the chip lead at one point or another, but Mueller was the only player who was able to hold onto the lead for the victory.

Some of the best poker players in the world played in this event which I’m sure helped warm them up for the upcoming Main Event. The biggest named player to make the final table in this event was Chad Brown although there were several bigger named players who had nice finishes. Jennifer Harman finished in 12th place which is very respectable, Todd Brunson finished in 14th place and Howard Lederer finished in 17th place. Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth and Doyle Brunson were some of the other players who played in the event, but they didn’t end up finishing in the top although hopefully we see them make a deep run in the Main Event.
