Lisa Hamilton Wins WSOP Bracelet in Her First Ever Live Tournament

Lisa Hamilton who is a 37 year old woman from Hawaii has just won her first WSOP bracelet in her first live tournament. She traveled from Hawaii to Las Vegas so that she could play in the seventeenth event of the World Series of Poker which was the $1K Ladies World Championships. There were 1060 women who paid the $1K buy-in to compete in the tournament this year and it didn’t take that long to complete at all. In fact it was one of the fastest tournaments this year at the WSOP.
The women sat down to begin action earlier in the week and it only took three days to finish up the tournament with the final table only taking four hours to play. Typically the final table takes a day alone to play, but these women were out there to play poker and they weren’t showing any mercy on each other. Some of the top ladies in poker attended the event, but none of them made it deep into the tournament which left the event up for grabs for one of the amateur poker players.
All of the women who played in the event and made the final table had a nice payday for this small event due to nice sized playing field that showed up. The women will know be able to spend the rest of the month spending their winnings in the casinos or spas in Vegas as there is still plenty of time left to vacation.
