Zac Fellows Wins First Career WSOP Bracelet in $3K H.O.R.S.E. Event

Event #21 at this year’s World Series of Poker was the $3K H.O.R.S.E. Poker event which took place over the course of this past week. There were a total of 452 players who entered into the tournament this year, but only one player would be able to come out on top and win the WSOP bracelet and first place prize. The last day of the tournament took over half the day to play and the final two competitors played heads-up for almost two hours.
Zac Fellows started the final day of action as the chip leader and although there were some close calls for Zac in the event he had some serious luck and managed to come through with the victory. Once the tournament got down to heads-up play Fellows basically started tearing up second place finisher James Van Alstyne. James was almost down and out several times during heads-up action, but he managed to survive for almost two hours before losing too Zac. Heads-up action was very fun to watch as the two players fought hard and lasted longer then most heads-up matches.
The H.O.R.S.E. Event this year had quite the number of well known poker names taking part in the event. A couple of the poker pros managed to finish near the top of the event including Canadian poker player Gavin Smith who finished in tenth place and Ylon Schwartz in eighteenth place.
