Carter Phillips Leads EPT Barcelona Main Event Going Into Final Table

After the fourth day of action at the European Poker Tour Barcelona Main Event the final table is now decided and players will be back tomorrow so that a champion can be crowned. Eight players will be coming back to fight it out tomorrow for the grand prize. The chip leader going into the final table tomorrow is Carter Phillips. Carter is currently sitting with 4,421,000 in chips and is leading second place by over 1 million chips right now.
Today there were some huge eliminations that took place and it was an awesome day of poker. Roland de Wolfe was knocked out of the event close to the bubble and Bertrand Grospellier was knocked out a bit before that. Both of the pros didn’t quite get the cards they need in Barcelona this year to make the final table, but they both put up great efforts. Both players have been playing great poker and it will be great to see them again in the next tournament that they play.
Julien Nuijten was the unlucky player to be knocked out of the tournament on the bubble, but Julien played some great poker and is still walking away with some money. Both Marc Goodwin and Matt Lapossie have been having an excellent tournament and they both have made it to the final table. The two players have been in the leaderboard the entire tournament and they will be starting off the day tomorrow in second and third place.
