Gulf Coast Poker Championship Final Table Has Been Set

The Gulf Coast Poker Championship is taking place right now and there were many big name poker pros that made it out to the event which was great. One of the pros that made it out to the event actually made the final table and he will be back tomorrow to play the final table out. Chad Brown is the pro that made the final table and he is sitting with about 200K in chips to start the final table.

Ron Haveard is currently leading the tournament right now with 629K chips, but most of the chip stacks are very close together. The final table is going to be a very close battle initially and it will probably come down to what player is getting the cards. Tim Bullard is sitting with 420K chips to start the final table and Peja Niyati will be starting the day off in third place with 459K chips. The other players that made the final table include Ron Romano, Tyler Smith, David Diaz, Aaron Rhodes and Chris Orourke.

Some of the pro players that made it out to the event other then Chad Brown include Brian Hawkins, Josh Arieh, Ryan Welch and Vanessa Rousso. Rousso has been playing a lot of poker recently and has been posting some good results, but she didn’t do very well in this tournament. Chad Brown will look to add this title to his list of many accomplishments tomorrow and we’ll let you know how it goes for him.

During action today the power had actually went out and it caused the players to go on break at an unusual time. Play didn’t take that long to resume though which was a good thing and we hope there will be no interruptions tomorrow when they finish the final table up.
