Vladimir Geshkenbein Wins the APPT Macau High Rollers Event

The APPT Macau High Rollers event was the second of two events to be held in Macau for season three. Overall I would say that Macau was a huge success at the player turnout was pretty stellar. Considering the fact that the World Series of Poker ended not long ago there were still many big name poker players that made it out to Macau to support the game in that part of the world. There was also a lot of local poker talent that made it out to the two events in hopes of becoming the next poker star.
In the high rollers event players made it back out to the tables today to finish up the tournament. Vladimir Geshkenbein was an unlikely winner and most people would have never picked him to win at the start of day 2. There were still some excellent poker players left in the field and it was definitely hard to say who was going to win the tournament. Vladimir showed a lot of aggression at the tables today and it helped him knock out a lot of opponents. Vladimir was once the chip leader on day 2, but then by the time the final table started he was down to only 300K in chips.
Vladimir ended up bouncing back very nicely in the poker tournament and beat none other then Johnny Chan in a heads-up battle for the title. The final table had some great poker players on it including Chan, but also included on the final table was Grant Levy and several other great players. The players that made the final table were as followed including the amount of money each of them have won.
