Isaac Brown Wins $250K at the Caesars Palace Classic

We’ve been having a bit of a break this week from major poker tournaments so there hasn’t been much to talk about really. Over the week the Caesars Palace Classic was played out at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and it ended up having a great showing. There were 162 players that participated in the event, so it wasn’t large by any means, but at the same time there were enough players to make it a large payday for the winner.

Due to the small playing field the tournament only took three days to complete and none of the days were really that long. There weren’t many professional players that showed up for the event and you’ll be able to tell that from the list of players that made the final table. Theo Tran managed to make the final table though, but he ended up finishing in 7th place which I’m sure was a bit disappointing for him. Kathy Liebert who is the first woman to win $1 million in a poker tournament finished right behind Tran.

Isaac Brown managed to win the tournament this year and he took home the grand prize of $250K. The prize pool is very good considering the amount of players in the event. Most of the final table looks to be amateur players as I don’t really recognize many of the names. The final table shaped up as followed by the time it was all done.
