Turns out Phil Ivey Is Human After All

If you have been doubting whether or not Phil Ivey was human or not you can now be sure that he is definitely a human being after all. Phil Ivey is easily one of the best poker players in the world and arguably the number one poker player in the world to ever play the game. His entire career has been based around playing poker and he has amassed millions of dollars thus far, which is incredible.

As you all should know by now Phil Ivey managed to make it to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event Final Table. What you might not have known is that Ivey made a huge mistake on day eight of action that could end up being talked about for years to come. If Ivey is unable to capture the WSOP Main Event bracelet then this mistake is definitely going to haunt him for awhile to come. I’m sure it doesn’t bother him much because he has no problems at all to worry about, but at the same time it was a mistake he shouldn’t really have made.

On day eight Ivey was trying to secure his spot on the final table, but things weren’t going his way at all. Ivey lost a lot of chips on this day including 2.5 million chip pot that he actually won. Ivey was in a big pot against a player on his table, but action had stopped on the river as both players checked. When both players checked the other player showed his hand and he had a pair of aces. Ivey ended up hitting a flush on the river as there were four spades on the board and one in his hand. Ivey mucked his hand though due to not remembering that he had a spade in his hand.

Generally when you’re playing in the WSOP Main Event on day 8 and you’re almost at the final table you’d be playing poker with an extreme amount of focus and concentration. Ivey ended up mucking a winning hand and it will most likely be shown on poker television shows for years to come now.
