2009 Full Tilt Poker Leaderboard Update

If you don’t follow Full Tilt Poker at all, it’s one of the most popular online poker rooms along with Poker Stars. There are a lot of pros players that play on Full Tilt Poker and many high stake games running all the time. With high limit games running every single day there are some players that have made a lot of money in 2009 and some players that have lost a lot of money in 2009.

With the year almost over I figured it’d be a good time to go over the leaderboard to see what players have been having good year’s and what players have been having bad years. The player with the most earnings on Full Tilt Poker this year is Patrik Antonius with $6.9 million profit roughly. Phil Ivey is in second place on the leaderboard this year with almost $4 million in profit.

Ashton Griffin and Ilari Sahamies are third and fourth on the leaderboard so far this year with around $3.5 million in profit apiece. Isildur1 is a player from Sweden who is a new player on Full Tilt Poker, but has already captured fifth place on the yearly leaderboard. Nobody really knows exactly who this player is right now except that he is from Sweden. The past few days Isildur1 has been taking Tom Dwan for a lot of money at the poker tables.

So far this year Tom Dwan is on the bottom of the Full Tilt earning list as he has already lost about $4.5 million this year on Full Tilt Poker alone. Gus Hansen and David Benyamine are both of the worst earnings list this year although I’m sure both of these players can bounce back next year hopefully. It’s always fun to see which pros are doing well online and the Full Tilt leaderboard is one of the best ways of doing that.
