Everest Gaming Has Been Sold

I definitely didn’t know that Everest Gaming was on the market, but it seems that the company decided it was time to sell a piece of the company. Mangas Gaming has just announced that they have purchased 60% of Everest Gaming. The other 40% of the company will remain with Everest Gaming. There hasn’t been any news on how much Mangas Gaming paid for their share of the company.

Everest Gaming has been in the online gaming business for more then a decade now. They not only have a successful poker room, but they also run a casino and sports betting service through their website. Mangas Gaming is a French company that already owns several extremely successful sports betting websites. The websites already owned by Mangas Gaming include Expekt, BetClic and Bet-At-Home.

Mangas Gaming has also branched into the poker and casino market so with the acquisition of Everest Poker they will be strengthening their positions in both markets. Everest Poker has always been focused on the European market and it looks like it has really paid off for them. Mangas Gaming is already the leader in the French market for online gaming will now be able to have a more broad reach. The CEO of the company mentioned in an interview that Mangas Gaming will be looking to become a front runner in the European market.

If you’re a player at Everest Poker you don’t have anything to worry about since everything will be run the same. The company only bought 60% of the company so I believe most of the operation will be run the same as it currently is. Mangas Gaming understands how good of a reputation Everest Poker has in the European market and I don’t think they will be looking to jeopardize the reputation in any way.
