Still Don’t Have an Aussie Millions Main Event Seat for 2010?

If you’re like most of us then you won’t have a seat for the 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event yet. With the $10.5K buy-in for the event it’s not a tournament that everyone will be able to play in. As some of you know already a lot of online poker rooms are offering players the chance to win a seat into this year’s Main Event. Most poker rooms have been offering a couple packages or so for there players, but at Party Poker they do things big.

Party Poker is going to be offering a total of 25 packages to the 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event. Not only will you receive a seat in the $10.5K tournament, but they will also make sure you’re treated like luxury down under. This is easily the biggest poker event in Australia every year and I can’t wait for it to kick off next year. When you have a poker room offering such a large amount of seats into such a big event they usually have weird rules.

At Party Poker they will be offering all 25 packages to anyone that wants a shot at it. On December 13th which is this Sunday you’ll have the chance to earn 1 of the 25 Aussie Million Packages. The first satellite tournament on the 13th will be played at 2:45EST and is ideal for players in Australia. This first satellite will have five packages on the line. The second satellite tournament on the 13th will be played at 14:30EST and will reward the remaining 20 packages.

Both of the satellite tournaments will have a buy-in of $600+$40 so although this tournament isn’t going to fit into everyone’s bankroll it’s definitely going to be a good time for those of you that can play in the event. If you can only play in one of the events you’ll want to make sure you play in the second one with 20 packages to reward to players. This tournament is going to have a large playing field, but since the top 20 players win a package you could easily win a seat by playing some great poker and getting a bit lucky.
