Join the Everest Poker 2010 European Cup

If you live in one of the lucky fifteen countries in Europe that have been selected to participate in the Everest Poker 2010 European Cup you need to start working on securing your seat. Only fifteen players from each of the countries will be able to represent their country at the live finale. The best thing about the European Cup is that it’s geared towards beginner players and it doesn’t cost any money at all to play.

In order to try and earn a spot into the European Cup you need to qualify through one of the live or online direct entry tournaments. To join one of the direct entry tournaments for your country you need to buy-in for 100 Summit Points or you can also qualify by playing in freeroll qualifying tournaments. Anyone can participate in the freeroll qualifying tournaments and the top 25 players move onto the direct entry tournament for the given week.

Every country has one direct entry tournament each week until the beginning of March, so there isn’t that much time to qualify online. You’ll need to check out the 2010 European Cup schedule to find out when your countries tournaments are running so that you don’t miss them, because if you miss them you won’t have any other chances. Once the teams have been selected everyone will travel somewhere in Europe to play poker in paradise.

The fifteen countries will compete against each other and the winning country will share the prize pool of $100K which has been donated by Everest Poker. Not only will you win some money, but you’ll also earn bragging rights for your country as the winner of the 2010 Everest Poker European Cup. The countries that have been selected for this year’s European Cup include Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Austria, France, Portugal, Hungary, Germany, Belgium, Finland and Denmark.
