EPT Berlin Robbery Case Update

With the NCAA March Madness tournament underway I know that most of us are busy capping the games and looking for valuable underdogs to back. I must say that this is one time of the year that I love being able to watch sports whenever I want. The March Madness tournament started yesterday and there were plenty of big upsets and close calls that I'm sure you guys all know about already.

Since this is a poker blog though we're not going to talk much about the Madness. I have a few updates from around the poker world for all of you though that I want to share with you today before sitting in front of the television and rooting on Syracuse.

There has been an update on the EPT Berlin robbery which I'm sure you've all been wondering about. There have 2 members of the robbery crew that have turned themselves in thus far, but authorities are still looking for at least two more members of the crew. Authorities initially suspected five people to be involved, but after talking with one of the members authorities found out the person had a really solid alibi.

The person with the alibi may be looked at again at a later time, but for now he has been released. The two other people on the run right now are suspected of fleeing the country and therefore it's been rumoured that Interpol has jumped in to help track down the people still at large. With Interpol on the case I suspect a quick ending and wouldn't be surprised to see both men accuseed of the crime in handcuffs within a week.

The robbery was obivously well planned initialy, but clearly some of the members in the crew have a conscious. I'd assume the two that turned themselves in will receive some leniance when being treated, but I definitely wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now. We'll update you as we here more about this case or when the other two members of the crew have been captured.
