PokerStars Ladies Luxury Poker Club

With the number of female poker players growing faster then ever before, online poker rooms are scrambling to start offering specialized promotions geared towards the ladies only. PokerStars has just released a new promotion this month for ladies only where all female poker players on PokerStars will have the chance to earn a vacation package to Monte Carlo. Only women can play in this promotion, so all of us men are out of luck.

The promotion is running until April 18th so you still have about a month to try and win your package. In order to win a package to Monte Carlo you need to win one of the weekly finals. To enter a weekly final you need to qualify through the freeroll satellite tournaments or the real money satellite tournaments. Every weekly final will reward at least one package to Monte Carlo although there may be more up for grabs.

The package that you’re trying to win is not just a travel package to Monte Carlo. You’ll get to stay in one of the most luxurious hotels in Monte Carlo during your stay plus you’ll get to play in the $1100 Ladies tournament at the 2010 EPT Monte Carlo. You’ll also get to participate in the Vanessa Rousso bootcamp which will be in Monte Carlo during the EPT. When you’re not playing poker, PokerStars will ensure that you’re being treated to a luxurious experience.

In other news, Ultimate Bet Poker has announced that they won’t be having the 2010 Aruba Poker Classic. This is one of the best tournaments of the year, but UB doesn’t want to run it this year. They want to focus their time in other areas to try and increase the traffic in their online poker room. If Aruba was marked down on the calendar you can now take it off.
