Full Tilt Poker High Stakes Tables Busy This Past Week

Full Tilt Poker is the #1 poker room when it comes to high stakes action, but the tables haven’t been that busy the past few months for several reasons. One of the reasons was because of the WSOP and WSOPE taking place over the last few months and I’m sure summer also was a reason for the slow down. Now that the WSOPE is over many of the pros hit the tables this week at Full Tilt and there were several huge sessions between some well known online players.

Andreas Torvaldsen ended up winning just under 2 millions this week and was the big winner overall, but Tom Dwan was able to win the most in a single day this week with over 1.5 million profit in one day. Dwan won most of the money in a long session between him and Sahamies. By the end of the week Dwan was up about ¾ of a million dollars and was the second biggest winner of the week.

Isildur1 was also back on the tables although he wasn’t playing at the high stakes table with the rest of the crowd. He played a session against Jungleman12 on the $100/$200 NL Holdem tables and when the session was over Isildur1 was down about $100K.

Two of the big losers this week online were Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey. Antonius lost just under 1 million throughout the week and Ivey lost almost $500K, which is only a drop in the bucket for him.
