$22 Million FTOPS XIX begins on February 6th

Has it been 3 months already? Apparently so because the nineteenth installment of the Full Tilt Online Series of Poker is starting this Sunday on February 6th. FTOPS XIX will offer $22 million in guaranteed money, which is a big jump from the $19 million guaranteed in FTOPS XVIII.

Besides the increase in guaranteed money, the amount of tournaments will be bumped up from 34 in FTOPS XVIII, to 45 tournaments in FTOPS XIX. Variety won’t be a problem either since there will be tourneys for nearly every poker variation with No-Limit Hold’em, Omaha Hi, Pot-Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, Rush Poker, 5 Card Draw, HORSE, 2-7 Single Draw, 2-7 Triple Draw, 7-Game, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, Razz and Badugi.

Of course, most of the big events will be No-Limit Hold’em tournaments due to the popularity of the game, and here’s a look at the biggest tourneys:

Event #1: February 6th, $1 million NL Hold’em, $216 buy-in
Event #4: February 7th, $1 million 6-max NL Hold’em, $1,060 buy-in
Event #22: February 13th, $1 million NL Hold’em Knockout (Multi-Entry), $129 buy-in
Event #24: February 13th, $1.5 million NL Hold’em (Multi-Entry), $322 buy-in
Event #33: February 16th, $1 million NL Hold’em, $322 buy-in
Event #40: February 40th, $2 million NL Hold’em 6-max Ante, $2,100 buy-in
Event #44: February 20th, $1 million NL Hold’em 6-max Knockout, $256 buy-in
Main Event: February 20th, $3 million NL Hold’em (Multi-Entry), $640 buy-in

Multi-Entry simply means that you can buy multiple seats in the same event. This is a new feature at Full Tilt that gives players more opportunities to win money in a tournament.
