PokerStars releases SCOOP Schedule

There's plenty of excitement in the online poker community since PokerStars recently released the 2011 SCOOP schedule. This year's SCOOP begins on May 8th, and it will feature 38 events, which is the same amount of events that was offered last year. There will also be $45 million in guaranteed money spread throughout the tournament; however, this number is expected to be much higher considering that there was $63 million in guaranteed money in 2010.

One of the best things about the SCOOP is that it offers players the chance to buy in at three different levels for each event; the different buy-in levels are Low, Mid and High. PokerStars released a statement about the different buy-in levels that read, "If you're just tuning in, SCOOP is a different kind of online tournament series. Instead of being for little, medium, or big bankrolls, it offers three buy-in levels for every one of its events. You can play one or all of them, depending on your ability to multitask and such."

Most of the Low buy-ins range from $5.50-$22, many of the Mid buy-ins range from $55-$215, and most of the High buy-ins are in the $530-$2,100 range. Assuming you don't have enough money for some of the higher buy-in tournaments, but you still want to play, you can enter satellites at PokerStars starting on March 14th. One day that you should be eyeing for the SCOOP is May 22nd because this is when the SCOOP Main Event happens. Here is a look at the three different buy-in levels for the Main Event:

- Starts at 17:00 ET on May 22nd
- Low buy-in: $109 No Limit Hold'em, $1,000,000 guaranteed
- Mid buy-in: $1,050 No Limit Hold'em, $3,000,000 guaranteed
- High buy-in: $10,300 No Limit Hold'em, $5,000,000 guaranteed
