Summary
A middle of the road poker room, Pacific Poker draws an a solid amount of players for tournaments, though the wait for a ring game can be aggravating. It doesn't allow US players to wager real money in either the casino or the poker room, though if you're from the US you can wager with play-chips, which is a real joy. Pacific Poker is owned by the company that runs Casino-on-net, the world's largest casino, and a good amount of the players from the casino spill over into the poker room, which is one of the draws. You can find a game stocked with fish and make a pretty penny.
Software
Graphically Pacific Poker's software will either please you or annoy you. Its color scheme is a bit different from many other of the net's poker rooms, so try it out to see what you think before making a huge deposit. Connection issues have been known to occur, and some people complain about being dropped from games. There are easy to use search features, though, that allow you to find the game you want quickly and efficiently, though you may have to wait to get into it. The software also has an integrated multi-tabling feature that cascades or tiles up to four different tables, if you are the sort of player who likes to play at more than one table.
Bonus
The bonus at Pacific Poker has a 25% bonus that matches up to $100 dollars. To garner your bonus you have to wager 20 times the bonus amount in raked games. As you do this, more and more of your bonus money will become 'available' to cash out.
Loyalty program
The loyalty program at Pacific Poker is called the Player's Club. You can use the points you have earned to play in members only tournaments for chances at entrance in the World Series of Poker or other tourneys, or you can trade your points for free stuff.

Limits and Rake
Limits in ring games range from .01-.02 up to 75-150. Generally you can find action at any limit level when you are looking for a Hold'em game. Other varieties can be harder to find a full table in, especially at the upper limits.

Unlike some of the net's poker rooms Pacific Poker does not offer phone or live chat support. It's all done through email here, and the wait time can be longer than average. Most complaints are eventually fixed, though.
