Summary:
Daniel Negreanu has frequently been at or near the very top of professional poker player money lists for the past ten years. Negreanu dropped out of high school to play poker in his home town of Toronto, leaving Canada at the age of 21 to try his luck in Vegas.
He did not fare well and had to return home to rebuild hi bankroll, and in 1997 upon his return his luck had changed. Two wins at the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods got the ball rolling, and he went on to become one of the most successful tournament players in history with championships in two WTP events, two WSOP bracelets, and appearances at 11 final tables. Today Negreanu continues to play in tournaments and also operates his own website where for two years running he has selected a player to mentor.
